Junior Project Engineer (Project Management)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Project Engineer to join our Project Management team in Athens. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and fit‑out projects, working closely with senior project managers, designers, and external stakeholders.
This position is ideal for a recent graduate or a young professional looking to build a career in Project Management within the construction and real‑estate sector.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the coordination and monitoring of project activities, schedules, and deliverables.
Support the preparation of progress reports, meeting minutes, presentations, and project documentation.
Contribute to the review of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and help identify discrepancies or risks.
Participate in tender processes, including document preparation, bid comparison, and evaluation.
Assist in the management of contractors, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Update and maintain project schedules (MS Project, Primavera or similar).
Support the monitoring of project budget, costs, and procurement status.
Conduct site visits (when required) to support progress tracking and reporting.
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering.
0–3 years of experience in construction, design, or project management roles.
Strong understanding of construction processes and technical documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with MS Project, AutoCAD, or BIM tools is a plus, but not mandatory.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Fluency in Greek and good command of English (written and spoken).
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous internship or junior experience in construction projects, design offices, or project management.
Familiarity with procurement, tendering, and contract administration processes.
Interest in developing a long‑term career in Project Management.
