Evoia, the second largest island of Greece and the third in the eastern Mediterranean, is located close to the Prefecture of Attica. However, it has a somewhat mainland character, since two bridges - the modern, suspended one and the older, sliding one - link it to mainland Greece, called "Sterea Ellada”. Just 3 km from Drosia, 10 km from Chalkida and 80 km from Athens, is the wonderful beach of Drosia, Alykes or Ippokampos beach as many know it from the name of the first beach bar that opened in the area. The beach is reminiscent of a tropical island. It is sandy with beautiful views and clear turquoise waters.
